Word Count tool
The Word Count tool tallies the number of words in every translatable block, reporting per-block counts and a document total. It is the standard way to scope a localization job — how much text needs translating — and to drive word-based pricing.
Counting runs over the segmented text. By default both the source and the target locale are counted, so you can compare untranslated versus translated volume. Inline codes (placeholders, tags, variables) are excluded from the count unless you opt in, because they are markup rather than translatable words.
